Welcome to the Blank Slate Theatre Festival Whistler website.   Set in the unparalleled backdrop of Whistler, British Columbia this theatre festival strives to produce and mount theatre productions of all shapes and sizes for Whistler locals and tourists alike to enjoy. From contemporary to classic to original works the Blank Slate Theatre Festival will host a number of productions at the Squamish Lil'Wat Cultural Centre during the weekend of September 1st - 4th, 2010.

Our 2009 inaugural season was extremely well received so don’t miss out on what we have to offer in our second year!

NEWS

September 1st, 2010 - OPENING NIGHT!!!
The actors are in Whistler, the techs have been done, lights are up and sets are spiked.  It's opening night!   We are very excited and hope to see you all there sometime this weekend!


     August 9th - LONGHORN Cast Party returns!
The Longhorn will again be hosting out Cast Party for the 2010 Blank Slate Theatre Festival Whistler!  Be sure to join the cast and crew for a drink directly after the show on Saturday September 4th, 2010 at the famous Longhorn Saloon.

August 5th - Tickets go on SALE!
Tickets to this year's shows are now available online!

July 10th - 2010 Season Announced
Blank Slate Festival attendees will have the option of attending the Canadian premiere of an edgy and existential comedy entitled “Almost an Evening” from legendary writer Ethan Coen or a quirky one woman show about an enthusiastic children’s performer who gets knock up by accident in “The Big Oops”.
